Oh, what a horrible day - tipping down here and cold to, I have a fleece blanket on my knees and feel to cold to craft.................thought I'd put an older card on here today
This one I made a couple of months ago, not for anyone in particular, although I have since given it as a birthday card to a friend I used to work with
It's on a biege, linen effect base card, A5 in size...I used a Justrite sentiment stamp in a brown ink (I also used this stamp embossed in gold on the insert). I cut out a design I had on my Cameo from the front of the card and once I had covered a small piece of adhesive card with gold flakes and stuck that in position I carefully put the cutout back in place.
I also used gold flakes on the butterflies (found these in my stash) added a few gold coloured gems and there we have it.
I'll be back soon, hopefully when the weather warms up x

Another card for you today, this is one I made for our Son's birthday earlier this month - quite simple but, I feel it is so different as the centre circle really pops out at you, especially in 'real life'
I used an 8x8" base card and matted it with black card........I then cut out the design on my Cameo in white card and popped some Hunkdory sentiments onto it
The design is a free one from Monica in Sweden, this lady is amazing and has so many great designs for us to use - hope you like it
Until next time.............Ooops, just realised the wording is upside down and I'm not sure how to change it here, but you'll get the drift

Hi there, just thought I'd pop a photo of a card I made for my Mum's birthday in June on here, I'd lost the piccie, which is why it took so long to put on here.
The card is made from a Kanban set I have from this year. I used the box card and flowers from the kit. The wording was done on my Silhouette as I found a really good tip about cutting in vinyl and then using foil on it.................it works brilliantly, so many uses for this technique! I also did the butterflies the same way.
My Mum loved it as it is quite tactile ... as she is slowly losing her sight it was good for her to be able to feel the wording and flowers, etc.
Thanks for dropping by.......more soon x

Hi, I'm back again..............my birthday has been and gone, had a lovely time with my family on Saturday - great weather and barbie, we all had a lovely time. Below is a photo of our lovely Grandson, he just turned two in June this year, he had a great time playing with his toys in the garden
Here is quite a simple card I made for my Son to give to his Sister for her 40th in July. It's from a digikit on CraftArtist..........Birthday girl........I changed a few of the items on the ready made card, printed it out and cut down to size..............

40th Birthday card
Hello again................I have been missing as very busy for the past few days. I had three lady cousins come up from London on Friday, also my Mum and H. What a day we had, so many laughs!! Lazy day yesterday, Mr and me were in the garden in the afternoon and had a really good time, listening to some golden oldies, singing and dancing along.....it was great!!! Lovely barbie as well.
Okay, now for the card..........I made this one for my Daughter's 40th in July.
I used a Sue Wilson embossing folder and matted that with white card, ran distress ink around the edges to tie it with the colour I was using for the rest of it.
I cut the Tattered Lace Happy Birthday die in burgundy card and coloured some gems with a Spectrum Noir pen so that all matched as well.
I cut the 40 on chipboard in my Silhouette, sprayed it with CC Stick and Stay and covered that with burgundy glitter.
I then used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the 'fabulous' in.................you guessed it, burgundy vinyl and topped that with foil through my Letseret foiling machine and stuck that to the card..........the 40 is raised up using Collal 3d glue.
I finished it off with burgundy seam binding at the top and a little triple bow, also two clear stick pins into the bow..
